Four Players Were Back at Practice Today for the Philadelphia Flyers

By Johnny Machurek

Philadelphia Flyers fans should be happy to see some faces back at practice today.  While no change in their status Jaromir Jagr, James van Riemsdyk, Zac Rinaldo, and Danny Briere were back at practice today.

Sarah Baicker of CSNPhilly.com reported the story:

Danny Briere (concussion), James van Riemsdyk (concussion), Jaromir Jagr (groin) and Zac Rinaldo (upper-body) all participated in the first team practice since the All-Star break. All wore regular orange or white jerseys instead of the no-contact jerseys injured players often wear.

Briere and van Riemsdyk, who remain out indefinitely, left practice prior to the more physical drills the rest of the Flyers participated in, but their presence was encouraging.

This is a good sign for any Flyers fan that these four are back at practice.  For some fans out there that have said JVR would be a big piece of any trade, they have to like that he is making progress as well.

The Flyers hope to see Jagr, JVR, and Briere back in games soon as the Flyers start the second half.  These will be guys Philly will rely on come crunch time.

Don’t forget fans the Flyers will be back in action tomorrow night at home against the Winnipeg Jets.
