How the Canucks All-Star did and other important stuff for the All-Star Game

Team Chara defeated Team Alfredsson 12-9 in this weekend’s All-Star Game in Ottawa. Now, lets look at how the Vancouver Canucks All-Star did. Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist while Henrik Sedin had a goal and 2 assists. Alex Edler was held pointless but he was a +2 in the game. The Sedins were on the same line with Scott Hartnell to begin the game and in the later part of the game, they were paired up with Daniel Alfredsson. Ottawa Senators fans were hoping that Alfredsson would get the All-Star game MVP, but Marian Gaborik got it instead. Alfredsson had 2 goals and an assist while Gaborik had 3 goals and an assist. The crowd was also chanting “Alfie, Alfie,” and I think he’s the biggest story in the All-Star Game since he’s playing in front of his NHL team in Ottawa.
