Trade News Around The Central Division

By Cait Platt

Still awaiting more trade news from David Poile and the Nashville Predators, I figured we should take a look around the division to see what the competition has been up to the past few days.  Might make an impact when playing them in the next few weeks, and you know that every little point matters in this race to the playoffs.

Detroit Red Wings:

Acquired Kyle Quincey (D) from Tampa Bay in exchange for Sebastien Piche and a 2012 1st round draft pick.

St. Louis:

No trades to date

Chicago Blackhawks:

Acquired Matt Fornataro (F) in exchange for Tampa Bay’s Brandon Segal.

Columbus Blue Jackets:

Curtis McElhinney (G), 2012 2nd round draft pick, and a conditional 5th round draft pick in 2013 in exchange for Antoine Vermette (F) going to the Phoenix Coyotes

While none of these are truly ground breaking trades, the players people are waiting with bated breath to move haven’t budged yet, however there are still 4 days until the Trade Deadline.  So much can happen in those few days so make sure you keep close to Twitter and here for all Nashville Predators’ trade news.

Let’s Go Predators!
