Andrei Kostitsyn Traded to the Nashville Predators

By Jeff Zeffer

The NHL trade deadline day started on a happy note today as the Montreal Canadiens send forward Andrei Kostitsyn to the Nashville Predators to reunite with his brother Sergei Kositsyn in the music city.

It is rumored the Alex Radulov could possibly heading to Montreal. But it looks like the Canadiens will receive a 2nd round pick in 2013 and conditional 5th rounder. This 5th round pick was originally sent to Nashville from the Hal Gill deal.

Kostitsyn has 12 goals and 12 assists in 53 games played with the Montreal Canadiens this season.

Kostitsyn will make $3.25 million this season before becoming a UFA this off-season.

I will update article if there is any new news worth noting.
