NHL 36 Proves Pittsburgh Penguins James Neal is Hot Commodity

It would appear as though Pittsburgh Penguins forward James Neal has been quiet since signing a $30 million contract extension with the team last month, but don’t be fooled.  He’s on a hot streak and things seem to be falling into place for him.  Life is good for this 24-year-old.

Most recently, the league announced that Neal would be featured on the newest ‘look inside’ show, NHL 36.  It’s the latest joint effort between the NHL and executive producer Ross Greenburg who previously joined forces to bring “Broad Street Bullies” and “24/7 Penguins/Capitals: Road to the NHL Winter Classic” (which was awarded a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Edited Sports Special) to HBO and has already featured Chicago Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane, Boston Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron, and LA Kings’ Mike Richards.

The television crew followed Neal for 3 days starting early on February 24th for a look into his life and it’s perfect timing as it seems that everyone is wanting to know more about the Penguins most recent sensation as the episode will most likely illustrate.

The episode will premiere tomorrow at 6:30 PM (est) prior to the Penguins game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on the NBC Sports Network at 7:30 PM (est).  It will be re-broadcast (on the NBC Sports Network) as follows; all times are EST:

Wednesday, March 7 @ 10:30 PM
Thursday, March 8 @ 4:00 PM
Friday, March 9 @ 3:00 PM
Sunday, March 11 @ 2:00 PM and 6:30 PM
Monday, March 12 @ 8:00 PM

If you can’t catch the show on the NBC Sports Network, it will also be broadcast (in the US and Canada) on the NHL Network as well (all times EST):

Sunday, March 11 @ 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Wednesday, March 14 @ 8:30 PM
Saturday, March 17 @ 5 PM
