Samuel Pahlsson scores his first goal as a Vancouver Canucks, lead them past Winnipeg Jets

The Vancouver Canucks defeated the Winnipeg Jets in a game where 77 shots were combined by both teams. Ondrej Pavelec made 42 saves on 45 shots while Cory Schneider stopped 30 shots on 32 shots. Ryan Kesler scored a shorthanded goal in the 2nd period and Alex Edler and Samuel Pahlsson scored in the 3rd period. Pahlsson’s goal was his first as a Vancouver Canucks and also the game winner. Kyle Wellwood and Blake Wheeler scored for the Jets. The Canucks avoid losing 3 straight times, something that still hasn’t happened this year. Next up, the Canucks will host the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.
