The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 in a shootout Wednesday night in a game with zero playoff implications.
Canadiens forward Erik Cole did provide some entertainment, though, in this battle of the Eastern Conference’s worst. It came in the form of a goal celebration. Watch:

The Hurricanes and Canadiens are currently tied with the New York Islanders for the worst record in the Eastern Conference with 67 points, though all three teams have more points than the Western Conference’s Columbus Blue Jackets (51) and Edmonton Oilers (57).
