Alex Edler, Sedins lead Vancouver Canucks past Columbus Blue Jackets

The Vancouver Canucks snapped their 2-game losing streak by defeated the NHL’s worst team, the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3. The Canucks went 3-4 on their 7 game home stand. Daniel Sedin scored 2 goals in the game while his brother Henrik got 2 assists. David Booth scored a goal and Alex Edler had a goal and an assist. His goal was a highlight reel goal because he skated from his own zone and skated through the other end of the ice and riffled it home. For the Columbus Blue Jackets, Vaclav Prospal and James Wisniewski scored and Jack Johnson got a goal and an assist. The Canucks outshot the Blue Jackets 38-36. The Blue Jackets have now lost 4 straight games. The Canucks will now head to Minnesota to take on the Wild on Monday as they’ll begin their 4-game road trip.
