If Sidney Crosby didn’t have bad luck, he wouldn’t have any luck at all. After finally overcoming his concussion issues, Crosby has been back on the ice the last couple of games. Thursday night, he took a puck to the face, courtesy of Dylan Reese.
That sucker is going to leave a mark, but look at how cool that photo is. That’s about as live action as you can get. The blood is just pouring out, but the photo captures it perfectly. Crosby returned to the game, but something tells me that he’s going to have a heck of a mark.
Final note. I know people gave Crosby crap for sitting out with a concussion and were knocking his toughness. If you did that, you are an idiot. Concussions are nothing to screw around with. Two, I think this should dispel any notion about his toughness. People take pucks to the face more than you think, but if Crosby was soft, he would not come back out on the ice during the same game.
