Edmonton Oilers-Vancouver Canucks Preview

By vincentkuo

The Vancouver Canucks will play their final game of the regular season on Saturday night when they host the Edmonton Oilers. The Canucks are coming off of a 3-2 loss to the Calgary Flames. The Canucks can clinched the 1st seed in the Western Conference if they get a point or if the St. Louis Blues fail to win against Dallas tomorrow night. The Canucks will play either the Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings or San Jose Sharks next week in the playoffs. The Canucks are also in a race with the New York Rangers for the Presidents’ Trophy race. The Canucks would lose the tie-breaker so they have to win and the Rangers would have to lose. For the Oilers, they’re coming off of a 3-2 loss in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks. The Canucks lead the season series 4-1. For my prediction, I think the Canucks will win a close one 4-3.
