Los Angeles-Vancouver Canucks Game 1 Preview
The Vancouver Canucks will begin the 2011-2012 playoffs against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night. The Vancouver Canucks clinched the Presidents’ Trophy when they beated the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 thanks to a Roberto Luongo shutout. The Los Angeles Kings were up 2-0 against the San Jose Sharks after the 2nd period. The Sharks scored 3 unanswered goals and Dan Boyle scored the game winning overtime goal to give the Sharks a 3-2 win. This is why the Kings are facing the Canucks in the playoffs. The Canucks are 2-1-1 against the Kings this year. The question on everyone’s mind is that will Daniel Sedin play Game 1? Jeff Carter missed the final 5 games of the regular season, but he’s likely to play Game 1. For my prediction, I think the Canucks will win Game 1 by the score of 3-1.
