Toronto Maple Leafs 2012/13 Regular Season Schedule

By Jeff Zeffer

The Toronto Maple Leafs 2012/13 has now been released and here is a look at what potential tough or easy stretches the Maple Leafs have ahead of them.

The 2012/13 will start and end with the Toronto Maple Leafs facing their rivals, the Montreal Canadiens. Both of these games will be played at home, at the Air Canada Centre.

As for tough and easy stretches a tough stretch should be from mid December to early may where the Toronto Maple Leafs have a 7 roads game over a 9 game span. Then with another stretch of six road games from mid to late January. As for home stretches the Maple Leafs have a stretch of five home games from October 30th to November 9th, then another five game home stretch from December 3rd to December 13th. In mid to late March the Maple Leafs have a 8 home games over a span of 10 games. Other than that, I feel the Maple Leafs schedule is well balance with really no long road stretches.

With me personally I always like to look at who the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing in the month of April, to see how good or terrible their last games will be in case the Maple Leafs have a shot at the playoffs. By looking at the Toronto Maple Leafs’ schedule in April with games against the Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils and two games against Buffalo Sabres, I’m personally do not like how their schedule will round out this year.
