HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FORMER PITTSBURGH PENGUINS GOALTENDER
(he turned 43 on this date)
Snow was drafted in the sixth round (116th overall) of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques. Prior to playing in his first professional game with Quebec, Snow played four years for the University of Maine. He was eventually traded to the Philadelphia Flyers for two draft picks after the Nordiques moved to Colorado. Prior to retirement in 2006, Snow would play for the Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and finally the New York Islanders - the team with which he would retire.
Presently, Snow is the general manager of the New York Islanders.
