Philadelphia Flyers NHL 13 Ratings

With a possible lockout looming in the NHL, there is not much for fans to be excited about.

However, the show most go on for EA Sports, regardless if there is hockey in October or not. EA will be releasing NHL 13 on September 11th, and fans are anxiously anticipating the day they can go out and pick up their copy.

Philadelphia Flyers fans are especially looking forward to it after Claude Giroux was announced the cover athlete during the NHL Awards.

Fans can check out their favorite team and player ratings courtesy of Yahoo! Sports’ Puck Daddy.

So, for all you gamers out there, let’s see how the Flyers were ranked individually and as a team.

Out of a possible 5, the Flyers received a 4 on offense, 4.5 on defense, and 4.5 on goaltending.

Now for each player ratings:

Centers:

Claude Giroux-90

Danny Briere-84

Brayden Schenn-78

Sean Couturier-77

Left wingers:

Scott Hartnell-84

Matt Read-78

Zac Rinaldo-71

Eric Wellwood-68

Right wingers:

Wayne Simmonds-82

Jakub Voracek-82

Max Talbot-79

Blair Betts-72

Defensemen:

Chris Pronger-85

Braydon Coburn-85

Kimmo Timonen-84

Andrej Meszaros-84

Luke Schenn-82

Nicklas Grossmann-80

Bruno Gervais-76

Goaltending:

Ilya Brygalov-86

Michael Leighton-75

Missing from the list are Ruslan Fedotenko, Marc-Andre Bourdon and Andreas Lilja. Rosters reflect deals since July 1st.

Only problem I personally have,  is that despite having career debut seasons with the Flyers, wingers Wayne Simmonds and Max Talbot actually decreased in rating from NHL 12.

For the fans of the NHL series, the demo will be released for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on August 21st.

So, what are your thoughts on the Flyers in the upcoming game?
