Carey Price

Price has been training in Canada. In fact, he spent a week practicing with the Tri-City Americans of the WHL, his junior alma-mater, a couple of weeks ago.

Peter Budaj

Budaj could sign with his hometown of Banská Bystrica Barani (Rams) of the Slovak Extraliga.

On Defense

Andrei Markov

Markov is back on the ice with Chekhov Vityaz of the KHL after sustaining an injury that sidelined him for about a month. The Russian native even recorded a Gordie Howe hat trick in his last game.

P.K. Subban

After working at Boston Pizza and doing the weather forecast on a local Montreal television show, Subban has confirmed that he will not play in Europe.

Tomas Kaberle

Kaberle spent about a month with Kladno of the Czech League and registered  six points in 10 games. He left the team to be with his family in North America. He is currently training at Ice Sports in Ontario.

Francis Bouillon

Bouillon is currently training in the Montreal area. He could be a lockout casualty should the NHL cancel the rest of the season.

Alexei Emelin

The hard-hitting defenseman has five points  in 18 games in the KHL this season.

Raphael Diaz

Diaz is still tearing it up with EV Zug in the Swiss A League. He has 26 points in 24 games.

Yannick Weber

Weber is skating in his home country of Switzerland, playing for the Geneva Servette of the Swiss A League. He has 15 points in 25 games.

Forwards

Max Pacioretty

After a short stint in the Swiss A League, Pacioretty is now back in the Montreal area because of an elbow injury he sustained in Europe. He just moved into a new house on the South Shore of Montreal and is practicing in Candiac, Québec with a few other teammates.

David Desharnais

The Laurier-Station, Québec native is now playing in Fribourg of the Swiss A League. The diminutive forward has five points in seven games so far for his new team.

Erik Cole

Cole is currently training in the Montreal area and has been dealing with a lower-body injury since last April. The extra rest has been helpful in the healing process.

Rene Bourque

Bourque is presently back in the Calgary area but has also spent time training in Montreal.

Tomas Plekanec

Plekanec has been lighting it up with Kladno of the Czech League. He has 38 points in 25 games, playing on a line with future hall of famer Jaromir Jagr.

Brian Gionta

Gionta is currently training in the Montreal area.

Lars Eller

Eller is doing quite well with JYP of the Finnish Elite League. He has 11 points in seven games.

Colby Armstrong

Armstrong is presently training in the Montreal area.

Scott Gomez

Gomez is back in Alaska. He is currently playing for the Alaska Aces and has five points in five games.
