Not all streaks are winning streaks. This is not an article about a winning streak–it’s about overcoming a losing streak. When you are on a losing streak, you have to see where things are going wrong. You need to reevaluate the situation at hand and try and figure out what to do next, otherwise you will just find yourself back on the fast track to nowhere.

The Winnipeg Jets are in a rough patch. They have lost three games in a row, but it is not too late to call it quits. There is room and time for the Jets to make the necessary changes to turn things around so they don’t end up at the bottom of the barrel.

They started off with a good run, scoring seven points in five games. Not bad Jets, not bad Jets. But then things took a wrong turn and perhaps they became victim to the menace of overconfidence and they lost to the Florida Panthers.

The Jets see and understand where things are going wrong for them. The man who understands this problem and can correct it, is their coach Claude Noel. Here is what Noel had to say on the matter.

“If we win the Florida game we end up being back at .500 and we’re going to move forward from there. We know what’s the reality of things, we’re in the game, we see what we’re doing, now it’s time to correct it and go forward from that.”
