New York Rangers Need To Disclose What's Wrong With Rick Nash

The New York Rangers pulled the trigger on a huge trade in the offseason when they acquired Rick Nash. Nash missed his third straight game on Saturday night with an undisclosed injury but word has been that it could have stemmed from his head hitting against the glass two weeks after taking a hit. Whatever the injury is for Nash, the Rangers need him back as soon as possible.

You always have to worry about a concussion when a player gets slammed against the glass but we would have probably heard about that already if Nash had a concussion. The Rangers aren’t saying anything about the injury which is all well and good but it isn’t helping the team get any more victories. I don’t want Nash out there if he is recovering from a concussion but the team has to be honest and say what is wrong. I have always hated how secret teams are about injuries. If someone is hurt, so be it.

The Rangers are just 8-7-2 right now and near the bottom of the Atlantic Division with their new star sitting on the bench. Nash has a team-high 12 points this year and the Rangers need that kind of player back on the ice now instead of two weeks from now with how short this season is. It is a situation that is worth watching for in the next couple days because if Nash isn’t back by the team’s next game on Tuesday, questions are going to start being asked. You can say it’s an upper or lower body injury but just say what it is already.
