Tonight’s game between the Pittsburgh Penguins (30-10-0, 60 points) and the Florida Panthers (13-21-6, 32 points) will be televised locally on ROOT Sports – Pittsburgh. Face off is set for 7:30pm (est) at the BB&T Center.

One late scratch with Evgeni Malkin out due to an upper body injury.  The projected line combinations are based on this morning’s skate:

FORWARDS: Chris Kunitz-Malkin-Jerome Iginla, Brenden Morrow-Jussi Jokinen-Pascal Dupuis, Matt Cooke-Brandon Sutter-Tyler Kennedy, Tanner Glass-Craig Adams-Beau Bennett; DEFENSEMEN: Brooks Orpik-Mark Eaton, Douglas Murray-Matt Niskanen, Robert Bortuzzo-Deryk Engelland, Simon Despres-Letang.

The projected starting goalie in net for the Penguins tonight is Marc-Andre Fleury.

The Panther will be without a number of players tonight against the Penguins. They are forwards Drew Shore (upper body injury), Eric Selleck (upper body injury), Kris Verseteeg (knee injury/surgery), Stephen Weiss (wrist injury/surgery), Sean Bergenheim (lower body injury); defensemen Ed jovanovski (lower body injury), Mike Weaver (lower body injury) and goalie Jose Theodore (lower body injury).
