NHL Pre-Game Notes: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. New Jersey Devils

Tonight’s game between the Pittsburgh Penguins (36-10-0, 70 points) and the New Jersey Devils (18-18-10, 46 points) will be televised locally on ROOT Sports – Pittsburgh and nationally on NBC Sports Network. Face off is set for 7:30pm (est) at the Prudential Center.

Paul Martin and James Neal practiced with the team today, but head coach, Dan Bylsma, reported that its more likely for them to be in Saturday’s lineup, but that he won’t do it an the expense of their recovery.

The projected line combinations are based on this morning’s skate:

The starting goalie in net for the Penguins tonight is Marc-Andre Fleury.

The Devils will be without just one player tonight against the Penguins. That’s defenseman Bryce Salvador (wrist injury).
