NHL Pre-Game Notes: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Ottawa Senators (Game 4)

Marc DesRosiers – USA TODAY Sports

Tonight’s Round 2, Game 4 of the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Ottawa Senators will be televised on RDS, CBC and NBC Sports Network. Face off is set for 7:30pm (est) at CONSOL Energy Center.

Brenden Morrow left practice early yesterday and did not participate in the optional skate this morning.  He will be out of the lineup and Jussi Jokinen will be his replacement.

Bylsma told the media at the start of the playoffs that discussion of lines was off limits and the Penguins had an optional skate this morning, so the projected line combinations are based on the previous morning’s skate:

FORWARDS: Pascal Dupuis-Sidney Crosby-Chris Kunitz, Jarome Iginla-Evgeni Malkin-James Neal, Jokinen-Brandon Sutter-Matt Cooke, Craig Adams-Joe Vitale-Tyler Kennedy, Tanner Glass-Dustin Jeffrey-Beau Bennett; DEFENSEMEN: Brooks Orpik-Paul Martin, Mark Eaton-Matt Niskanen, Douglas Murray-Deryk Engelland, Simon Despres-Robert Bortuzzo.

Power play Unit 1: Martin, Iginla, Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz;
Power play Unit 2: Niskanen, Dupuis, Kennedy, Neal, Morrow.

The starting goalie in net for the Penguins tonight is Tomas Vokoun.
