NHL Pre-Game Notes: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Boston Bruins (Game 4)

Tonight’s Round 3, Game 4 of the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins will be televised on RDS, CBC and NBC Sports Network. Face off is set for 8:00 pm (est.) at the TD Bank Garden.

Tonight’s game against Boston is do or die for the Penguins.  It is never an easy task to win four straight games in a row, but we are talking about a team who had a 15-game winning streak this past regular-season and anything is possible especially when you take one game at a time.  The Penguins need to be back on their game tonight and play just as well, if not better, than they did on Wednesday when they forced the game into double-overtime.  #BELIEVE, Pens fans!

Bylsma told the media at the start of the playoffs that discussion of lines was off limits, so the projected line combinations are based on this morning’s skate, as usual:

The projected starting goalie in net for the Penguins tonight is Tomas Vokoun.

The projected starting goalie in net tonight for the Bruins is Tuukka Rask.
