The Philadelphia Flyers will be on the road again on Monday night, as they travel to face off against the perpetually struggling Florida Panthers.

The odds are more in the Flyers’ favor, as they will head into the game with a three-game winning streak underneath their belts. The Flyers have really turned it around and have gone 7-1-2 in their last ten games, with a total record of 11-10-2, whereas the Panthers have gone 3-5-2 in the last 10 and have a total record of 6-13-5. Things look like they are working more in the Flyers’ favor, but that does not mean they are allowed to relax come Monday night.

The Panthers may not be in that great of shape, but the Flyers still need to take them seriously and play as hard as they normally would. The Panthers have increased scoring in the past few games, and Brad Boyes, whom has scored three goals in the past six games, should pose a threat for the Flyers.

The Flyers should have this game down on lock if they continue to play the rest of the season the way they played against the New York Islanders on Saturday night. They had multiple goalscorers, solid goaltending, and were able to hold off their opponents even when they looked like they could tie it up. They need to play with that teamwork and perseverance for the rest of the season.

With Matt Read, Vincent Lecavalier and Claude Giroux heading up the Flyers’ offense, the team should be looking at another win on Monday night.
