The Philadelphia Flyers came back and defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday, and they will try to repeat this performance on Saturday in a rematch against the team.

The thing that will really hinder their plans to defeat the Blue Jackets again is the fact that they will not be on home ice. Although the Flyers are arguably a better team, they do tend to play better at home than when they are on the road. This could be some cause for concern when they take to the ice on Saturday, especially since they almost let their game get away from them on Thursday.

The Flyers’ tops line should be a cause for concern for the Blue Jackets again on Saturday. Claude Giroux was the thorn in their side on Thursday, so the Blue Jackets will have put a target on his back come Saturday. That will go the same for his linemates Jakub Voracek and Michael Raffl, both of whom have also been the strength of the Flyers’ offense. Let’s not forget Steve Mason, the former Jackets goalie who will certainly try to stand on his head against his former team.

Cam Atkinson kept the Blue Jackets in the game on Thursday so he will be the player that the Flyers will be keeping their eye on all night long. Team leader in points Ryan Johansen will be another player that Flyers will need to be watching when he comes into their zone.
