Nazem Kadri has always been common in trade rumors, but that is in large part attributable to the faction of Toronto Maple Leafs fans who disliked him from the day he was drafted. Now, Kadri's name is showing up in genuine trade rumors regularly, including one involving the St. Louis Blues and Patrik Berglund. It seems more than likely that Kadri could be moved soon.

According to several reports, Brian Campbell doesn't want to play for the Florida Panthers anymore. His expensive contract will make trading him a bit tougher for GM Dale Tallon, but first pairing defensemen can always attract value and interest around the league. With a manageable two years left on his deal, expect Florida to test the trade waters significantly regarding Campbell.

GM Doug Wilson has made it clear that the San Jose Sharks will be moving in a different direction, and trading Joe Thornton seems like an inevitability at this point. Thornton will apparently not accept a trade to any team that isn't a big-time contender, certainly limiting the Sharks' options. Keep an eye on the Blues and Blackhawks here.
