Top 5 Games to Look Forward to in 2015 For Calgary Flames — The 2015 year might be a huge year for the Calgary Flames. One game shy of the halfway point of the season and the Flames are in a three-way tie for third in the Pacific Division. If they can play well throughout the remainder of the season, the playoffs are a real possibility for a Flames club that wasn’t even supposed to be competitive. There will be some fun games to watch along the way. Here are the top five to look forward to in 2015.

It will be a tough test being that the Flames are at the Honda Center, so they lose home-ice advantage, but maybe having Jonas Hiller return to the building in which he called home for seven seasons will spark a great performance.

Calgary has an opportunity to redeem themselves having fallen to the Penguins 3-1 on Dec. 12.

Getting wins against the defending Stanley Cup champions is sure to be a great confidence booster and the Flames will have three more cracks at it this season with the Kings. The Apr. 9 contest also marks the last regular season home game for the Flames.

And, it’s always possible that this game could decide if the Flames get in the playoffs, especially with how tight the Pacific Division is right now.
