After a horrid start to 2014-15, the Dallas Stars have climbed back up into wildcard contention and may yet save what previously seemed to be a lost season. Here are the top five Stars games to watch in 2015.

The high-flying Colorado Avalanche may not be a great team this season, but they certainly are fun to watch. When the Stars match up with them, speed and skill dominate the day while nobody plays any defense. That makes for pretty entertaining hockey.

Dallas just handed the Minnesota Wild an embarrassing 7-1 drubbing, and this game will be Minnesota's first chance for some revenge.

The Calgary Flames are one of the Stars' primary competitors for a Western Conference wildcard spot. This game, the 77th of Dallas' season, will be an exceedingly important one.

The San Jose Sharks are — like Calgary — one of Dallas' main competitors in the wildcard race, but they have a much more talented and formidable roster than the Flames. Winning on the road against the Sharks is always a difficult proposition, but Dallas may need two points out of this game if it hopes to play any meaningful hockey past April 11th.

In what projects to be an extremely close race for the West's two wildcard spots, the last day of the season will probably have a number of "win and in" games. This matchup against the Nashville Predators may end up being just that for the Stars.
