The Anaheim Ducks are still a relatively young team, but even so, have had some great captains in their franchise’s history. These captains have led the team in victory and defeat and even to hockey’s most coveted trophy, the Stanley Cup. Here are the five best captains in Anaheim Ducks history.

Paul Kariya was practically the face of the Anaheim Ducks' franchise for many years, leading the team to their first Western Conference Championship and Stanley Cup appearance. He was the standout player the Ducks needed and it made him an important captain for the Ducks’ organization.

The Finnish Flash, one of the greatest players to ever lace up the skates for Anaheim. Teemu Selanne’s legend lives on as the team has just retired his number (the first and only number to be retired so far at Honda Center) and though his time as Captain was short, it was important because of who he was to the organization.
