Boston Bruins Offseason — The Boston Bruins were busy during draft weekend, trading away Milan Lucic, Carl Soderberg and Dougie Hamilton. They received mostly draft picks, along with a backup goalie, in return for those star players. Then on Monday made a confusing trade to acquire often-suspended Zac Rinaldo. Despite the moves, the Bruins still have little to no cap space. They need to find some affordable free agents this offseason.

5. Dustin Jeffrey — Does Dustin Jeffrey jump off the page when looking at his stats? Of course not, but he has been very effective in the AHL. Some players just can't do it in the big leagues, but at 27 years old it is too early to quit on Jeffrey.

He is entering his prime and coming off a season with 14 goals, the most since he scored 22 back in 2010. He looks like his stock is trending up after a few injury-riddled seasons.

1. Jordan Leopold — The Bruins could use another defenseman after the departure of Hamilton. There is no way they will be able to find a player of his caliber, but they could definitely find some bargains. Jordan Leopold is right around the $2 million per season mark, which the Bruins could probably afford.
