The Boston Bruins management and fans have always held high expectations for championships. Well, they have only won six Stanley Cups and fans have always wanted more. The team won their last Stanley Cup during the 2010-11 campaign against the Vancouver Canucks in a thrilling seven-game series. During the early parts of this campaign, fans have learned a lot from the past three games.

Three games into the new season and the Boston Bruins have given up 17 goals and only scored six. The Bruins' goaltending in these three games against the Winnipeg Jets, Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning is not going to get them any closer to their 2010-11 Stanley Cup-winning roster.

Rask is a former first-round selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2005 and was dealt to the Boston Bruins, where he won a Stanley Cup with the franchise. Rask has started in three games and gave up 14 goals on 91 shots. The Bruins appear to be starting a rebuild project. If wins are to come, Rask has to turn it around.

Chara missed the first two regular season games after being injured during Boston's preseason schedule. He came back into the lineup for Game 3 of the season against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Chara is 38 years old, and he is no longer an untouchable commodity on this roster.

Coach Julien started his coaching tenure in Boston, during the 2007-08 campaign. He has taken the team to the playoffs each season and his best season was during the 2013-14 year where the team finished with 117 points. Julien's always been under consideration to be fired and yet has survived. This season, they probably will not be successful in the Eastern Conference and Julien is going to be fired sooner rather than later.

After trading superstars Dougie Hamilton and Milan Lucic this summer, changes appear imminent. The team has not been successful during the early parts of this season and it probably won't be long before changes come. Veterans were dealt last summer and now there are rumors already of a coaching change to coincide with reports that Zdeno Chara could be dealt, further breaking apart the championship team.
