The Philadelphia Flyers have had the same string of problems for years, and the early portion of the 2015-16 campaign looks no different. The Flyers have earned five points in four games and anger never seems to leave the organization's fanbase. There are some clear issues on this team which have been observed over the past four contests.

It could be blind loyalty to their goaltenders or blind faith in actually believing that this is a good hockey team. The Flyers have given up 10 goals within the first two contests and that is utterly insane for the organization. Not since the days when current GM, Ron Hextall, was between the pipes have they had steady goaltending, and sadly, that trend is still continuing.

As bad as the goaltending has been for the Flyers, the one bright spot has been the play of Neuvirth during the last two contests. The Flyers' backup is currently coming off not one, but two consecutive shutouts and perhaps could be showing signs of stealing the starting job away from goalie Steve Mason.

This seems pretty obvious when assessing this team. At the age of 35, Lecavalier has had a productive career with the Tampa Bay Lightning but a mediocre tenure in Philadelphia. He has yet to play a game this season for the Flyers, but the team has to play him in order to get value via the trade route.

Rookie Laughton has started to click well with R.J. Umberger and Matt Read. He picked up his first NHL point, an assist, in his debut in the league. He is primarily on the third line now and one of the bright spots on a very confusing roster.

Brayden Schenn was a former draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings in 2009. He was traded in a blockbuster deal with the Flyers that sent Mike Richards in the other direction. Schenn is involved in trade rumors again and currently leading the team in scoring with three points in the first four games.
