Penguins' Marc-Andre Fleury Makes Insane Diving Stick Save to Rob Capitals of a Goal

By Anthony Blake

Game 3 was a tough outing for the Pittsburgh Penguins in their Stanley Cup Playoff series with the Washington Capitals.

Back home with a 2-0 series lead, the Pens were on their heels all night and lost their captain Sidney Crosby to a scary-looking injury.

Still, veteran netminder Marc-Andre Fleury was determined to give his team a chance, and The Flower did just that with this absurd, desperation stick save.

This is teamwork in the most ridiculous way. Oh my! #StanleyCup

Fleury has been great thus far this postseason for the Pens, but this stop certainly took it to a new level of awesomeness.

And the help from Patric Hornqvist only heightened the level of difficulty here in keeping the puck out of the net.

They usually say a series doesn’t begin until the home team loses, but in this case it may be until the home team actually wins a game.
