James Neal Snipes Long Distance Goal After Ferocious Forecheck for Nashville Predators

By Anthony Blake

The Nashville Predators finished tied for the final Stanley Cup Playoff spot in the Western Conference, but after getting in, they’ve looked nothing like a longshot.

This team swept the top-seeded Chicago Blackhawks in the opening round and just took a 3-1 series lead on the St. Louis Blues courtesy of this nasty long distance snipe from James Neal.

After getting in on the forecheck and outhustling two St. Louis defenders to gain possession, Neal sent a howitzer past goaltender Jake Allen.

It’s hard to argue that any player in the NHL has a better shot than Neal.
