Pittsburgh Penguins' Justin Schultz Unleashes Laser Shot to Take 3-1 Series Lead

By Anthony Blake

With Sidney Crosby out due to a concussion, the Pittsburgh Penguins were forced to rely upon their supporting cast to become the first home team to win a game in their Stanley Cup Playoff series with the Washington Capitals.

Fortunately for Pens fans, this team still has plenty of talent at its disposal, as evidenced by the power play tally from Justin Schultz set up by some great passing courtesy of Evgeni Malkin.

The puck got by Capitals goalie Braden Holtby so quickly that it’s remarkable he even had time to make a move in trying to save it.

After relinquishing a 2-0 lead earlier in the game, this blast from Schultz broke a 2-2 tie to put Pittsburgh ahead by a 3-2 count they would go on to win by.

Maybe this team won’t be lost without its captain.
