Anaheim Ducks' Josh Manson Goes Head-Hunting on Nashville Predators in Game 5

By Anthony Blake

The Stanley Cup Playoffs have been nip and tuck this year, with the margin between victory and defeat being so minuscule that sometimes it’s hard to determine why a team actually lost.

For the Anaheim Ducks, perhaps their desire to play more physical in Game 5 against the Nashville Predators was a contributing factor.

This hit on the Predators’ Cody McLeod by Ducks defenseman Josh Manson seemed to stir up some serious disdain between these two teams with a bit of hatred for one another as it is.

And it wasn’t the first incident for Manson in this series either, as he took aim at Viktor Arvidsson in Game 3.

Oh, there was also this leap in Game 4 that saw Mike Fisher take Manson’s skate to the face.

With the Predators down so many bodies, including star forward Ryan Johansen due to a severe thigh injury, it’s remarkable that this team is just one win away from the Stanley Cup Finals.
