Nashville Predators Explode for 5 Goals in Stanley Cup Finals Game 3 Win

Returning home after two games in which they outplayed their opponents everywhere but the scoreboard, the Nashville Predators brought plenty of confidence and promises to Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

And though the Pittsburgh Penguins scored first, five straight tallies from the Preds made good on those guarantees in the end.

And after so much criticism over the first two games, veteran netminder Pekka Rinne stood tall in net for Nashville and actually got a curtain call as one of the three stars on the night.

The raucous home crowd seemed to buoy the Predators in Game 3, and the Penguins can expect no less in Game 4 as well.

It’s very likely that this could turn out to be a seven-game series with plenty of drama left to unfold.
