Evgeni Malkin Threatened Predators Fan With Stick After Penguins' Game 3 Loss

By Anthony Blake

When the stakes are up frustrations can also be at their highest, as Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin showed following his team’s 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

A Predators fan was heckling Malkin as he exited the rink toward the locker room, and he was none too pleased.

Hockey is the one sport where razzing an opponent would seem safe, given the glass barrier between the seats and the ice, but doing so as the players leave the playing surface is a different story.

Malkin clearly needs to control his emotions better, but that fan also needs to realize that he’s got a stick in his hands AND razor-sharp skates on his feet.

Plus, guys in the NHL fight on a routine basis.

Not exactly the kind of person you wanna mess with.
