Pekka Rinne Balloon Costume May Be Predators' Best Hope in Stanley Cup Finals

By Anthony Blake

The Pittsburgh Penguins have chased Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne twice already in this Stanley Cup Finals series, with the latest occurring in a 6-0 Game 5 drubbing.

Sam Cremeens, AKA Sam the Balloon Man, is a Preds fan who has a solution in net – an eight-foot tall balloon costume of Rinne for the rest of the series.

Though rebound control may be an issue in this bouncy suit, the sheer size of this thing would deter pucks from entering the cage.

It took Cremeens about eight hours and approximately 500 balloons to create this suit in honor of the Predators goaltender.

No word yet if Nashville is considering it an option as the Game 6 starter between the pipes.
