This is by far and away the biggest question marks for this football team going forward. In fact, it might be one of the biggest stories in the entire country with the media attention that Notre Dame receives on a yearly basis.

Tommy Rees, the starter for the last year and a half, was up and down all season long and played poorly in the last two games of the year. Andrew Hendrix is more of a fit for Kelly's spread offense, but he has yet to light the world on fire either. Many feel that redshirt freshman Everett Golson will be the favorite to win the job because of his legs and his arm strength.
