2012 Washington Huskies Football Coaching Staff Salaries Released
LA Times

If your a Huskies assistant coach you won’t need to expect a Mark Richt bonus gift anytime soon. Today Seattle Times Washington Huskies reporter Bob Condotta reported the Husky coaching staff salaries for 2012. After the recent swoom a coaching changes at Montlake the reported figures of defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi and offensive coordinator are now confirmed, among others.

Starting from the top with defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox who signed a three year contract. Wilcox will make $750,000 in 2012, $800,000 in 2013 and $850,000 in 2013. Former defensive coordinator Nick Holt was scheduled to make $650,000 in 2012 and will still receive his salary.

Elite recruiter and defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi, who arguably was the biggest hire for Washington, will make $350,000 per-year in his three year contract. He also has two $100,000 bonuses, one for signing and one he will receive if he stays at Washington all three years.

The reports of Lupoi making $500,000 per-year were inaccurate, but it is still possible depending on other bonuses not noted but likely included.  Those would include bowl games, recruiting bonuses and other smaller bonuses. As it stands now Lupoi can make $416,000 per-year.

Offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau will make $375,000 in 2012, $400,000 in 2013 and $425,000 in 2014 in his guaranteed three year contract. Wide receivers coach Jimmie Doughetry will make $190,000 up from $135,000 this season. Running backs coach Joel Thomas gets a raise from $165,000 to $190,000 in 2012 and $205,000 in 2013.

New linebackers coach Peter Simon, defensive backs coach Keith Heyward both received two-year guaranteed contracts. Simon will make $225,000 in 2012 and $250,000 in 2013. Heyward will make $150,000 in 2012 and $160,000 in 2013.

Special teams coach and recruiting coordinator Johnny Nansen received a raise as well with his new title. He will make $200,000 in 2012 and $225,000 in 2013. Nansen was scheduled to make $165,000 in 2012.

Washington’s assistant coaches combine to make just under three million at $2.73 million. That doesn’t include the $1.025 million Washington is paying to former coaches Jeff Mills, Nick Holt and Mike Cox. Steve Sarkisian is expected to make $2.4 million this season which would bring the total over six million for 2012.

The staff will make $2,895,000 in 2013.
