Brett Favre told NFL Network he will not return in 2011, meaning the Eagles will face Favre only one more time in his storied career.

Head coach Andy Reid has fared extremely well against Favre in his career.

In fact, you could say that Reid has done better against Favre than any coach against any other (future) Hall of Fame quarterback in NFL history.

The Eagles lost to the Packers, 6-3, in 2000. Favre dazzled fans and opponents with 189 yards passing and three interceptions.

In 2003, the Eagles beat the Packers, 17-14. Favre torched the Eagles’ defense, topping out at 109 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

In 2004, the Eagles smoked the Packers, 47-17. Favre threw for 131 yards and two interceptions on 29 pass attempts.

In 2005, the Eagles edged the Packers 19-14. Favre completed 15 of 33 passes for 171 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions. Cornerback Rod Hood intercepted Favre in the end zone with under a minute remaining to seal the win.

The 2006 Eagles crushed the Packers, 31-9. Favre completed 22 of 44 passes for 205 yards and two interceptions.

In 2007, Favre completed 23 of 42 passes for 206 yards and an interception. The Packers won 16-13, after the Eagles fumbled away a punt with under a minute remaining.

That’s six times since 2000 that the Eagles have faced Brett Favre. Four wins, two losses.

Favre has led the Packers to 76 points, an average of 12.67 per game.

He has completed 106 of 203 passes, for 1011 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

That’s a 47.5 passer rating.

The Eagles face Brett Favre one more time in his career. That’s December 26th, in Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles will likely be fighting for a playoff spot, while the Vikings will be in the midst of a 7-9 season.

I’m looking forward to one final three interception game from Favre.
