Howard Smith - US PRESSWIRE

Mike Zagurski has spent the last five seasons rotating between Triple-A and the major leagues in the Philadelphia Phillies organization, and now he will get a chance to pitch for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Phillies shipped the 28-year old left-handed reliever off to the D-Backs for a player to be named later. Zagurski has put up excellent numbers in the minor leagues, but his career 6.82 ERA in 31.2 major league innings is more indicative of his abilities, as is his 5.4 career walk rate per nine innings.

The Phillies will also get some cash in addition to a player to be named later.
