One of the top receivers in Wisconsin prep football Jester Weah had a great senior season and his hard work is starting to get noticed. The Madison Memorial Spartans wide out has had seven offers roll in thus far, and this looks to be just the tip of the iceberg.
Weah was the top receiver for the Spartans who lost in Level 1 of the WIAA state football playoffs. In nine games this season, Weah hauled in 38 passes for 799 yards and eight touchdowns. In the past two seasons, Weah caught 60 balls for 1,266 yards and 13 touchdowns. Not to mention he is pretty good defensive back and a really talented basketball player as well.
The latest offer to come Weah’s way was from the Colorado State Rams, which brought his total to seven offers this year. The other six schools to give an offer to Weah have been the Bowling Green Falcons, Eastern Illinois Panthers, Eastern Michigan Eagles, Illinois State Redbirds, North Dakota and Ohio Bobcats. Is that the end of the line for Weah? Not by a long shot.
One team that has yet to give Weah an offer is the Wisconsin Badgers. Weah made a visit to Camp Randall September 15 as he saw the Badgers defeat Utah State 16-14. While staying patient, Weah is still optimistic that an offer will still come his way from the Badgers.
Another college looking at Weah is the Pittsburgh Panthers. Although an offer has not been handed his way, I would be very shocked and surprised if the Panthers do not continue to pursue the talented Weah.
As talented and athletic as Weah is not only on the football field but also the hardwood, I would expect to see even more offers start to roll in in the very near future.
