Who Makes The List?

list
Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

This week brought the beginning of the early signing period for high school athletes in sports like basketball and baseball but a lot of the focus remains on football as it does every year. There will be a lot of recruits who get a lot of attention, both negative and positive and for good reason as many colleges try to find the next big player. There will be hits and misses along the way for every major university.

In my opinion though, there are ten players who may be getting a bit too much attention for reasons ranging from they don’t have the statistics to be as highly recruited to just having too much looked into their every move, which isn’t the best of things for a high school athlete. There will be some of these ten players who end up proving me wrong and becoming great college players and potentially even NFL players but for the time being, I just think that these ten uncommitted players are just a bit too looked into.

Here is my list of the top ten players who are overrated from the 2013 class, there are offensive players in this list and some defensive players along the way but we will all see when the next football season rolls around if this list turns out to be accurate or if I’m completely off-base on these picks. I could only hope that each of these players becomes a successful college athlete but these ten are definitely overrated for the time being.
