Julius Randle has a prolific style of play that many teams would want. He can shoot from the outside, and has a habit of creating problems for smaller defenders. He averages 15.0 points, 1.8 assists, 1.1 blocks, 9.8 rebounds, and steals 1.2 per game. As many analysis have stated, “Kansas must get this guy.”

Kansas needs a talent like Randle. With Ben McLemore declaring he will go into the NBA draft, the Jayhawks needs some type of scoring. Mclemore scored majority of the Jayhawks points. With an opportunity to grab the nation’s best forward, they would be insane if they did not try their hardest to get him! Randle will give this team an opportunity to spread the floor more. The offense could run through him; he could even bring the ball up the court with his ball handling. He is not the type of player that causes turnovers or shows lack of effort in big-time games. Randle has an appetite to become the best, and shows improvement in doing so.

The Florida Gators have shown interest in Randle also. Randle has been coached before by Billy Donovan. Donovan is known to land and mold prospect players. Randle would be a force with the Gators. He does not have to bring the ball up the floor, but that gives other players the opportunity to score. Their opponents would have to put a double-team on Randle, which would open more players for set shots. Flordia is known for its bumbly hands – they tend to turn the ball over when the game is on the line. Randle is not known for his turnovers, but is known for his knowledge of the game.

There has been much speculation over what his chosen path will be. As we go into another year, which school will prevail with getting Julius Randle?
