Kasey Hill is an electric player, and has true command of the court; he will also be a Florida Gator next year. He pulls the game down to his pace. When there is space in the fast break he will push the ball. He has a preternatural passing instinct and amazing body control as well.
His crossover is a thing of beauty, and his athleticism allows him to not only be a force attacking the paint and blocking shots, but also putting back offensive rebounds. That is truly rare for a point guard and is what makes Hill so unique. He can finish in a traffic like a much larger player.

Hill was recently named to the 2013 Nike Hoop Summit U.S. Team and rightfully so. Hill will soon be a favorite of head coach Billy Donovan, and Hill believes Donovan can get him ready for the NBA.
“I have a good relationship with [head] coach [Billy] Donovan and he played point guard in the NBA so I feel like I can learn a lot from him,” Hill said. “I think he’ll be able to build me into a better pick-and-roll player because he told me that’s a lot of what they do in the NBA.”
That was the difference in Hill’s recruitment by the Gators. Now, Hill will be the difference in a lot of his games at Florida between victory and defeat. I’m thinking that there will be more victories though.
