Which In-State School Winds Up With WR Stacy Coley?

Top five wide receiver and four-star recruit Stacy Coley is from sunny Florida and no surprise has three programs from the state fighting for his services next fall. The Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes and South Florida Bulls are the programs that would love to land Coley on National Signing Day six days from now.

Coley is one of the best recruits at the wide receiver position this year. He’s tall and will look to add more strength to his frame in the next few years at the next level. Coley is also speedy and defenders better bring him down right away or he will be gone for a touchdown.

All three schools in the running have received official visits from Coley, with the Bulls being the latest program. New Bulls head coach Willie Taggart knows that landing a player like Coley is important to his program which is why he visited the Under Armour All-American a couple days ago. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Hurricanes coach Al Golden knows it’s now or never and made a visit to Coley yesterday.

You may be wondering what about Florida State? Well don’t panic Seminoles fans, your program right now has a slight edge over the other two. Some people out there, however, would not agree with that statement and would say that all three programs are all at the same level at this point.

I do have to agree with those naysayers a bit as yes, all three have an equal shot. However, I do believe that the Seminoles have more to offer for Coley as the wide out will most likely make an immediate impact in Tallahassee. Look for Coley to land with Jimbo Fisher and company next Wednesday on signing day.
