Today, the Jordan Brand announced its East and West rosters for the 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic. The game will take place on April 13 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Kentucky has five commits in the game while Duke and Florida both boast two. The two top players in the country (Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins) will be on opposite teams, which should be a fun matchup for college basketball fans to keep an eye on. My money is on Parker in this game.
“This year’s roster could be one of the most talented in the 12 years of the Jordan Brand Classic – even with an alumni list that has become the who’s who of basketball,” said Larry Miller, president of Jordan Brand. “The event will be an incredible showcase of talent reaching millions of people around the world through ESPN2 and in person at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.”
The East team will feature Tyler Ennis, Andrew Wiggins, Aaron Harrison, Kasey Hill, Kennedy Meeks, Rondae Jefferson, Kuran Iverson, Julius Randle, Wayne Seldon, Bobby Porter and Chris Walker.
The West side team will include: Aaron Gordon, Andrew Harrison, Dakari Johnson, Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker, Matt Jones, Marcus Lee, Nigel Williams-Goss, Noah Vonleh, Troy Williams and James Young.
It should be a fun game full of athletic plays and flashes of what this talented class will be capable of at the college level.
