Top 2014 Basketball Recruit Justice Winslow Prospect Profile

Duke Blue Devils

Mark Dolejs-US Presswire

Justice Winslow is the top ranked small forward in the 2014 class, according to Scout. His athleticism and ball handling make him a unique three guard who you can run your offense through.

He rarely makes mental mistakes on the court and has been praised for his high basketball IQ as a result. Winslow has interest and offers from some of the top programs in the country, but will not narrow his list until next year. His passing skills for his position are already elite and teammates will love the way he gets them easy buckets.

His block at the :49 mark of the above highlight reel shows the type of impact he can have defensively, and his dunk at 1:23 in this reel is a must-see as well.

The forward out of St. John’s School (Houston, TX) needs to improve his mid-range game, but that is really nitpicking his game for his age. He is already a deadly three point shooter and if he can develop a floater in the lane and a consistent mid range game, then he will be an elite scorer at the college level.

The Duke University Blue Devils are one of the schools who have offered Winslow a scholarship, so the rich will just try to get a bit richer. My money is on the Florida Gators to get Winslow’s services, but I will admit I have been wrong before–only once or twice though.
