The 2013 Jordan Brand Classic will be played at the Barclays Center on April 13 and features five highly-ranked Kentucky recruits from the class of 2013: Andrew Harrison, Aaron Hamilton, James Young, Dakari Johnson and Marcus Lee.
Florida–bound tandem Kasey Hill and Chris Walker will also feature while other heralded recruits Wayne Selden (Kansas), Jabari Parker (Duke), Matt Jones (Duke), Noah Vonleh (Indiana) will join No.1 ranked Andrew Wiggins (undecided) in the game.
Fighting for MVP honors will be undoubtedly be the top two recruits Wiggins and Parker, but exciting prospects Hill, Walker, and Selden will among the entire Kentucky-bound group in with a chance for the award.
Parker and Wiggins, who are being predicted by some to have a future NBA rivalry comparable to that of the LeBron James, Kevin Durant battle as seen in last year’s NBA Finals, will provide the matchup of the night, but a number of other interesting positional clashes are sure to excite. Kasey Hill against Andrew Harrison at the point guard spot is sure to be a great one, while the forward matchup of Julius Randle and Aaron Gordon should also entertain.
