Top 2014 Basketball Recruit Justin Jackson Prospect Profile

Bob Donnan-US PRESSWIRE

Justin Jackson is an incredibly sought after recruit and you can see why below. He has a pretty nice handle for a guy his size. He also shows surprising range for his lankiness as well. He is an absolute beast in the paint and has a pretty one handed floater that at his height is pretty much unguardable. That is a shot he has worked on many times, and you can see it used a few times below.

He is one of the most tenacious rebounders I have seen tape of at the high school level. His game is not as much about flash as it is about just pure effectiveness. He is a deceptively good passer as well and gives his teammates plenty of easy baskets. He has shown a unique ability to adjust in mid-air to get himself the best shot possible and that type of creativity will be crucial at the college level.

Jackson is the number two ranked small forward in the 2014 class and has all of the top programs in the country rightly interested. He recently enjoyed his visit to Arizona, but look for him to make many more visits before he commits. He is currently uncommitted, but he will have his pick of the litter once he narrows his list. It will be a lot of fun to watch Jackson’s game develop for another year before we see him excel at the college level.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
